1. General Information

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the coaching services provided by Kata Galamb (“Coach”, “Service Provider”, “we”, “us”) through the website katagalamb.com and in person in Hungary. By booking and/or participating in a coaching session, you (“Client”, “Participant”, “you”) agree to these Terms.

2. Nature of the Service

The services offered include somatic and emotional coaching, body awareness practices, and personal

development tools. These services are not psychotherapy, psychiatry, psychology, physiotherapy, or medical treatment. Coaching does not diagnose, treat, or cure any medical or psychological condition. Clients with psychological disorders, psychiatric diagnoses, or severe emotional distress are strongly advised to seek professional support from a licensed mental health professional.

3. Voluntary Participation and Responsibility

Participation in sessions is fully voluntary. The Client understands and accepts that they are responsible for their own physical, emotional, and psychological wellbeing during and after the sessions. The Client must disclose any relevant health conditions, contraindications, or risk factors that may influence participation. Clients attend and participate at their own risk.

4. Contraindications

By booking a session, the Client declares that they do not recognize themselves in the contraindications listed in the Bodywork Disclaimer (see Annex 1). If any apply, the Client must notify the Service Provider before the session.

5. Session Booking and Cancellation Policy

Sessions are offered online or in-person (Hungary). Payment details and fees are communicated at the time of booking. Clients may cancel or reschedule a session free of charge if they provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made within less than 24 hours, or failure to attend, will be charged in full.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Service Provider does not guarantee any specific results or outcomes. The Client accepts that participation may bring up emotional or physical sensations, memories, or discomfort, and that they are responsible for their integration. The Service Provider is not liable for accidents, injuries, or consequences arising from participation. Coaching is not a substitute for medical or psychiatric care.

7. Data Protection and Privacy

The Service Provider processes personal data in compliance with Hungarian law (Act CXII of 2011 on

Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Data collected may include: name, contact details, date of birth, health declarations, and session notes (if necessary). Data is used solely for service provision, legal obligations, and communication. Data will not be shared with third parties unless required by law. Clients have the right to access their personal data, request corrections or deletion, withdraw consent for data processing, and file a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH).

8. Confidentiality

All information shared in sessions is treated as confidential. Exceptions apply if disclosure is required by law or to prevent imminent harm.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Hungarian law. Any disputes shall be settled by the competent courts of Hungary.

Annex 1 – Disclaimer for Bodywork

I declare that I am not recognizing myself in any of the contraindications below:

- Pregnancy

- Asthma

- Epilepsy

- Detached retina

- Glaucoma

- Uncontrolled high blood pressure

- Cardiovascular Diseases (including prior heart attack)

- Mental disorders (manic disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD),

paranoia, psychotic episodes, depersonalization, etc.)

- Strokes, TIA´s, seizures or other brain/neurological conditions

- A history of aneurysms in your immediate family

- Use of prescription blood thinners

- Hospitalized for any psychiatric condition or emotional crisis within the past 10 years

- Osteoporosis or physical injuries that are not fully healed

- Acute somatic and viral diseases

- Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD-II and COPD-III)

- Chronic diseases with symptoms of decompensation or terminal illness

- Individual intolerance of oxygen insufficiency

- Cancer, unless prescribed by a doctor

- Low Impulse Control

I understand that if any of these above-mentioned issues are applicable to me, I am obliged to inform the facilitator

about this. If I choose to participate without the facilitator knowing these conditions, the participation will be at my

own risk and I am responsible for the consequences resulting from this session.

I understand that I am fully responsible for my own health (emotional and physical) and I am in good condition

when entering the Bodywork session. I am participating on my own risk at all times.

I understand that I have to be clean of alcohol and substances for at least 24 hours prior to the Bodywork session.

It is my own risk to participate in the session whilst having taken alcohol or (prescription) drugs.

I understand that Bodywork is an alternative healing modality and should never be used as a substitute for direct

medical treatment. Everyone attending a Bodywork session is responsible for seeking medical advice, should they

need medical help.

I understand that by accessing a Bodywork session I can experience an altered state of consciousness and I can

be confronted with past pain and trauma that has been suppressed, avoided, or forgotten. Bodywork is a powerful

tool to heal these deep-rooted (emotional) pains. However, there is never given any guarantee, warranty or

prediction that I will be able to access this awareness during the session(s).

I hereby declare that I am healthy and fully able to participate in a Bodywork session.
